Week 22

Week 22:
  • This week Wrekker is getting so big!  He is the size of an ear of corn! I have definitely noticed a change on the scale the last few weeks and he is growing 6 oz. each week! Yikes! Good for him, unfortunate for mommy! :)
  • My belly is hard everywhere. I never imagined it really growing but boy has it ever! I am starting to get very swollen and by the end of the day my feet hurt so bad! Kason is so sweet to make sure I am always taken care of and he does such a great job.
  • We started out our weekend with lots of fun plans! We made homemade pizza and orange smoothies and went and had plans to sleep on Kason's parents tramp because they are out of town. We laid there for a while and looked at the moon and stars. It was the weekend of the super moon. Meaning that the moon was like 14% bigger and 30% brighter than normal and would only be like that one night this year. It truly was huge and so mesmerizing to look at! We ended up sleeping inside because it was more cozy on this pregnant lady's body. We still had so much fun! I sure will miss all the spontaneous adventures my sweet husband and I have when our sweet Wrekker gets here.
  • Sunday night Kason and I went on a long motorcycle ride so we could watch the big moon come out. It was so perfect and so peaceful. I only had to stop and pee in the middle of the road twice ha ha ha which is pretty impressive if you've ever been pregnant and rode on the back of a motorcycle!
  • I forgot to mention the last few weeks how spoiled I've been to have Kason working hauling between the freeway and Washington fields and so we get to have lunch time together almost every day. It has been so fun! We eat at subway somedays because it is easier for him to park there but most days he just comes home! I sure wish this could last forever. Soon they will be done hauling and so he won't be so close to our house at lunch time.
  • I did a good job cleaning our house this week. I cleaned and organized all the cupboards in the kitchen and made space for bottles and sippy cups and bibs and all those fun things we will soon have.
  • I went shopping with Chianne and my mom because they were trying to decorate Josh and Chi's house. I can't wait to see what it looks like! I joined in and bought some decor for our downstairs that I have been wanting. It looks so cozy and warm now! I sure do love our house and I'm so blessed that we are so fortunate to have a home that is ours.
  • This week my sweet Great Grandma Bowler died. She is my Dad's grandma. She has been sick for quite some time and so it is truly a blessing but my heart aches for my Grandma Faught and Aunt Annette as they endure this sad time. We loved the precious memories we shared with her and she will be missed so much. I couldn't help but wonder if she has seen or held our precious Wrekker now that they are both together in heaven as he waits to join our sweet family.

Week 21

Week 21:
  • This week Wrekker is 8 inches long and weighs 1 whole pound!
  • We started out our weekend by going to our first rodeo of the summer! The Cedar City Rodeo. It was a lot of fun! We can't wait to take Wrekker along with us so he can love it as much as we do!
  • After the rodeo it was late and we were feeling adventurous so we got a hotel and stayed the night. One of Kason's friend's wife works there and she was so sweet to hook us up! We enjoyed our fun night get away!
  • Sunday, was Father's Day. We planned dinner with Kelton on Sunday night which was so yummy! We had fun hanging out with Kade and Syd and Kelli and Kelton.
  • Monday, we planned to spend Father's Day with my dad and we went down to Bunkerville and swam and played volleyball and ate dinner. It was a blast! Water volleyball sure gets crazy at our house!
  • I helped Kelli finish sanding and painting her desk for her play room. I wish we would have taken before and after pictures it looks SO good! Now if only I would finish Wrekker's ha ha ha I know, you're probably sick of hearing that each week!
  • I made my first loaf of banana bread. It was amazing and so incredibly yummy! I had it waiting for Kason right out of the oven for when he walked in the door from work! He was super pleased!
  • Thursday, my mom planned a girls spa day at her house! I was so excited! My mom, me, Chianne, and Nat all gave each other pedicures and we had yummy sandwiches and pins coladas by the pool while we laid out! It was so lovely and so much fun! I think we should do it every week?!

Week 20

Week 20:
  • This week Wrekker is the size of  a banana! He weighs 11 ounces.
  • I can't believe we are HALF WAY THERE!
  • I feel him kicking all the time and even Kason can feel him too! It is so fun and so neat! I love to watch Kason's face as he feels him kick his hand. It is so special!
  • We had a fun weekend, we took a long drive up to Veyo, Enterprise, the Reservoir, and around the mountain and came out in Cedar City. We had a yummy dinner and did some shopping. It was the perfect day!
  • This week I was kind of lazy all week. I don't know why but I have been so tired! I literally would sleep all day if that wasn't ridiculous!
  • I started my summer tutoring. I tutor for 6 hours a week and it is going to really help us out for the summer!
  • Tuesday, we went back to have our second go at the big ultrasound. This time Wrekker was much more cooperative. He looks great! He is still measuring smaller than average and they told us it was because in the umbilical cord there are suppose to be 3 canals where nutrients and blood and oxygen go from me to him and I guess Wrekker only has one. The Dr. said it wasn't a major concern but he will  have to be extra carefully monitored and if it comes to the point where they see he isn't developing enough they will have us deliver him and that way we know how much oxygen and food he actually is receiving. We hope that isn't the case and that he can stay in my belly and grow like he needs!
  • This week Kason took me out to the Arizona Strip and we practiced shooting our hand guns. It was a lot of fun and Kason is so perfect and patient. I can't wait to go back soon!
  • This week our rocker for the nursery  came! We put it together and love the way it looks! It is so cozy and soft too!
  • This week I decided to organize our pantry. I bought some baskets and containers and cleaned and organized it all. I love the way it turned out!

Week 19

Week 19:
  • This week Wrekker is the size of a mango! He is over 6 inches long and weighs about 10 ounces! I can't believe we are half way there! Kason and I were trying to figure out how many pages we would have to read to finish the Book of Mormon before he came and this was the first time we have counted the day, eek.. There are like 130! We both got a little nervous once we realized that!
  • We started off our weekend being lazy. We got in the hot tub for a little bit on Friday night and I think it made me a little dehydrated because I didn't drink a ton of water after because Saturday I was so incredibly sick! I had the worst headache and my eyes were so tender and so I literally slept all day on Saturday!  While I was asleep my sweet husband worked in the nursery, he said he sat down and read all of our cute books too. Isn't he perfect?! He was so excited to tell me about how cool the truck and tractor books were ha ha ha!
  • Sunday we went to church and came home and I made a yummy crock pot roast and Kason made some fabulous mashed potatoes.
  • Monday I went shopping with my mom for a few things. We found some perfect fabric for the crib bedding and then we had lunch and ran a few more errands. I always get so bored on the days she doesn't surprise me in St. George!
  • Tuesday our CRIB ARRIVED! I have been waiting for almost 4 weeks! (Don't ask!) I was so excited to see it pull up to our house! The box had a huge hole in it and so I was super nervous! It turned out perfect and my sweet husband set it up the second he walked in the door from work! He is too good to me! It is BEAUTIFUL! We also got our changing pad delivered too! Now if only that silly dresser was done! I've almost given up on it, the sander is broke and so is my 'give a damn' ha ha ha pregnant ladies shouldn't take on big projects!
  • I have been cooking dinner all week and I am so proud of myself. I wish I was a better cook so Kason could eat good things each night. I feel like he deserves that because he works so hard, but cooking dinner is exhausting for me because it literally takes me over an hour to prepare it, no matter what it is! I need to practice like my mom told me 5 years ago when I didn't listen....
  • Wednesday I went with Kason to league bowling and he did so awesome! He has kinda struggled the last few weeks and so it was fun to see him beat everyone on his team this week!
  • This week I developed some sort of weird rash all over my body. I itched myself crazy for 3-4 days. I have no idea what did it but I am glad it finally went away!
